Fashion Brands monetising on ethics and feminism

Fashion brands are now actively working on attracting more of the millennial audience. As we all know, the most popular trends within the females of this age group are: social media, sustainability, ethics and feminism.

As an example of a brand building their marketing strategy on the above mentioned trending notions is the latest #GirlofNowinitiative campaign by Ellie Saab. The brand claims to support  women’s leadership and education. As part of this campaign, the brand has produced short videos starring supermodel Sara Sampaio, entrepreneur Laura Remington Platt, jewellery designer Nur Fares and blogger Cristina Bazan.

The videos were shot in Beirut, where a panel discussion was held on entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation.
